Investigations are continuing into the shooting death of an armed robber at the National Australia Bank in Parramatta last week.
Kalid Dib was shot by an Armaguard security guard during an attempted armed robbery at 6.30pm last Tuesday, August 19.
A cash-in-transit van was parked in George Street outside the National Australia Bank when three masked men two carrying firearms threatened two armed guards who were inside the bank.
Police said the two men were wearing dark clothing with hoods and beanies.
Police allege one of the guards shot at the masked men who then ran from the premises.
As the two armed men ran from the bank it is alleged a third guard waiting outside the premises also fired his weapon.
Mr Dib, 25, of Auburn, sustained a gunshot wound before the three men fled the scene in a white Mitsubishi Lancer that had stolen number plates.
The car was later found burned out in Berala.
Mr Dib was dropped off outside Auburn Hospital. It is believed he was dead on arrival.
Police were forced to disperse a large crowd of about 100 friends and family of Mr Dib who had gathered outside Auburn Hospital.
Police are still searching for the other men involved in the incident.
About 200 mourners gathered at Lakemba Mosque on Thursday for Mr Dib's funeral.
Anyone with information about the incident who hasn't yet spoken to police is urged to call Parramatta police, 96339633 or Crime Stoppers, 1800333000.
