Wentworthville Leagues Club has plenty of variety in its Saturday night line-up for the coming weeks.
Last week the vibrant Vegas Fantasy show entertained the audience with glamorous showgirls in stunning costumes, and athletic male dancers.
This Saturday night there will be the Rock'n'Soul Review with the music of Joe Cocker, Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin, while on the following Saturday Adam Scicluna is back by popular request for his 10th concert at Wenty Leagues.
Scicluna will also be back to host and perform at the club's Melbourne Cup Red Carpet Lunch on November 4 at noon. He will be supported by the Ron Hearne Band. Tickets cost $28, or a table of six for $150.
On Saturday, November 1, David Bond and Paula Watt capture the essence of country pop through the ages with their Tamworth to Tennessee show, doing songs made famous by Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, right through to the sounds of Lee Kernaghan and Shania Twain.
On November 8, The Love Generation pays tribute to the artists, songwriters, music and musicals that made that time what it was. It includes tributes to artists such as Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, Abba, Rod Stewart, The Partridge Family and more.
Shows are in the Starlight Room and cost $4.40 for members, $8.80 for visitors and start at 7pm.
Every Friday night at Wenty Leagues is Friday Wind Down with vocal pianist Rob Eastwood, free at 8pm in the Explorers bar and cafe.
At 10pm, the tempo changes with Friday Night Fever in Lucido and the latest VJ technology playing video hits from the 1970s, '80s and '90s.
