Petite Monique Salle as Mary O'Brien (Dusty's real name) endeared herself to the audience.
Not only has she a great voice, but she never stopped moving. Her enthusiasm was exhausting.
A humorous moment was when the little poppet stood on a member of the cast's shoes during a dance routine.
Cast members really revelled during a 20-minute medley at the end of the show. It gave them all a chance to shine.
This amateur production deserved full marks in everything from set and costume design, lighting and sound.
The nine-piece band led by Greg Crease provided wonderful backing for the singers.
